Great Island, in Wellfleet, Cape Cod, is a wonderful place for long walks. It is a sparsely uninhabited island now part of the National Seashore, with a rich natural environment. There are tidal flats which become inundated in high tide and empty out in low tide, forests, great sand cliffs and abundant wildlife.
