These are the dunes facing north on the beach at Ballston Beach, Truro, in Cape Cod. My favorite Cape Cod beach at my favorite time of day, late afternoon, as the low-lying sun is preparing to set and the last rays of the sun from the west cast blue shadows of the dunes on the beach and golden gleams over the grassy tops of the dunes.
