Abstract Seascape

This abstract seascape painting was done in my Philadelphia studio when I was painting spontaneously, "purely," just manipulating pigment, color and shapes in an abstract way, but as I worked on the painting it seemed to resemble a seascape, with rocks, sand and waves breaking off a shore somewhere in my imagination.
