Interstellar Bubble (Hubble Series 11)

As I was painting my version of this Hubble space telescope image, the difficulty of translating the wispiness of these gaseous cloud masses into oil paint and canvas came home to me.  What emerged from this effort is something else: a gigantic flower in space!
